As part of the application life cycle, we believe its normal to find issues arising from improper authoring and packaging of applications. Our simple defect tracking feature lets administrators and users keep track of problems found in a new, pre-deployed, and deployed application. Defects can be assigned to different packagers to address the defects or write knowledge base articles to describe how to work around defects.
Defect tracking is located under the “Quality Assurance” are of the console. Administrators can add, modify and remove defects. The following fields can be customized in the Platform->Settings page: Defect Status, Feature, “GroupAssignment”, Module and Resolution. This lets each organization customize their defect tracking feature to meet their needs.
