A popular feature for many application administrators is the ability to push out an application to workstations while a user is not logged in. With Resource and System Management you can accomplish this by simply associating the application to a workstation or a dynamic group and checking the “Force Install” checkbox on the application. Now as soon as a system boots up the RasmAgentService will find the application on the distribution point and install it immediately.
Alternatively, administrators can choose to create an agent side task to install an application at a specific time. The application will either need to be associated to the workstation or dynamic group or the user will need to be logged in. Under this scenario, the application should not be configured to be “force installed”.
